NEA .270 single.

I prefer my 270 as my goto whitetail gun. I have others but its my favorite.

My primary deer hunting rifle is a 58 caliber halfstock flintlock . I custom built it myself. I sometimes use a little 50 cal. It has flint ignition also.

when gun hunting i use a .308

I use a Browning A-Bolt in 280 Rem most of the time but I try to get my other rifles in the field at least once during the season.

My 308 is my favorite for open/semi covered land.

I use a Mossberg Model 800AL chambered in .308Win. Shooting 165 grain Sierra GameKings, it's hard to beat. As my second choice, Marlin 336CS 30-30 shooting a 150 grain Winchester Silvertip....iron sights prefered on the lever gun.

My go to gun for over 30 years has been my remington 700 BDL in 30-06. This year I finally bought the gun that I've always wanted, a Marlin 336SS in 30-30, I'm going to be using the Hornady Leverevolution 160 grain pointed boattails.
