how do i find out what the minimum amount of inches is required for pope and young buck for missouri??

States don't each have a minimum amount of inches for pope and young. The minimum amount for anywhere is 125 inches.

so if i measure a buck that is above 125 is it considered a pope & young buck??

If a buck is killed with a bow and is measured officialy by a official scorer then it can be entered into P&Y

That being said if you know how to measure correctly you can figure out the apporxamate score. official scorers don't charge to score so look up one that is local if you have one to score and ask them to show you how. Or look on Pope and youngs website to see how its done.

But a 125" buck is P&Y class.

Pope and Young is for deer harvested by" Archery" only. Boone and Crockett score is for everything else.
