IMO, not shooting a gun is like owning a Ferrari and never driving it. Sure, its fun to look at, but what the point in having it if your not going to have fun with it.

AE 94's are not collector guns.

Enjoy it for many years, then give it to your son/daughter or otherrelative to USE (not sell).

Selling guns given to you by family is a sin.

I don't know what you mean byblimited range?? I hunt w/ people that regularly shoot at 200 yards w/ that gun! 30-30 until just recently has killed more deer in pA thsan any other caliber.

I got a 30-30 A.E. Black Shadow, I got it in 2001 first year of production, and it's all I use for deer hunting. I shot a wood chuck at 300 yards in 03' with it, but that was with a reload. I have been told by lots of people to retire it, but I love it too much to do that.

pat

guns were meant to be used. if ya bang it up, you can always have it re-finished by a gunsmith

Not the newer ones.
The recever is made from a nickle alloy.
They electroplated it so it would take blueing.
And if the plating came off it will Not reblue.

But what the hay shoot the snoot out of it.
Have a good time.
Get some deer.
Have fun.
Be Safe and have some fun.
