deer jerky, water or gatorade w. alid thta screws on (makes a good pissore' in the woods stops scent, make sure top is tight!!!) , couple pbj's, hard candy. I know people that cook in the field and shoot deer. I also know people that hunt off a campfire as wood or coal smoke doesn't seem to bother the deer? they eat all day.

I make me up about 10 lbs of jerky before hunting season and take a small baggie full with me when I go to the woods.

Imake my own jerky but discontinued bringing it into the woods. After I eat it I have dragon breath from all the garlic and onion powder. My thought is if a human can smell it a deer can certainly smell it. Like others PBJ's, apples, granola bars, pretzels and water holds me over for a full days hunt.

I just take a Bowie knife and kill a squirrel or two that are in the tree with me and then have a feast. If I'm really hungry I'll look for a raccon.

You can never go wrong with trail mix. Everything that's in there deer eat.

Jerky...in a resealable bag, an apple, granola bits (also in a bag...hate the foil wrapper on a bar noise), bottle of water (MD Amp if I'm tired or hungover)

Power Bar, Jerky, Peanut butter, banana, bacon and mayo sandwich, on wheat of course. Protein, Potassium, a little fat, and carbs.

you can eat anything you want really..jus be quiet when opening it..deer dont care about the smell..they are curious creatures anyways..they might come in close to see what it is..i've tested cologne before and had deer come in just to see what the smell is..they dont associate food with humans..or cologne..they just want to know what the smell is..one time i was takin a piss off my stand and had to bucks walk right under me lol..they also dont associate human urine with humans as ive found out..like i said they are usually just curious..but i dont recommend peein everywhere and sprayin cologne everywhere..then they might get weary..just eat if u get hungry
