We have them all over around here. They mainly stick close to the rivers and lakes. I work a couple blocks from the fox river and theres about six of them we see everyday.

It doesn' t seem that long ago that if you seen one or two way up north you were lucky. I' d say they made a heck of a comeback!

We dont have many around here, in fact seeing one is usually followed by mentioning it to everybody you see that day. I did see one feeding on a dead deer (which had been poached!) about a 1/4 mile from my property.

Now get this, a week ago sunday, some mental midget shot a mature bald eagle perched in a tree about 15 miles NE of my house. The eagles talons were locked on the branch, and it simply swung upside down and hung there dead. The USFWS, IA DNR, and our local Sheriff' s Office are investigating. A $5,000 reward has been issued. For the life of me, I simply cannot fathom why anyone would be ignorant enough to even think of doing this, especially in todays world political climate. I just PRAAAAY we catch this moron...

When i go up to HAyward wisconsin to my grandparents house I see them all the time. I have seen them eating deer on the side of road quite often. I have also seen one grab a fish from the water. They are amazing and I am glad i have th honor of seeing them in the wild.

Im from Oklahoma and dont see many eagles until the winter months. I have had
a couple fly right over me while on stand. The most I have seen at one time is 9 while I was driving by a lake near my home.

I hunt in the Catskills in NY, and I see bald eagles pretty regularly. We see them around reservoirs a lot, and in the winter when the reservoirs are frozen we see tons of them overlooking rivers and trout streams. I also saw a deer that was stuck with an arrow and died behind a cabin that I hunt at, and an eagle was eating it.
