Fall Foliage
Not talking about foliage in the woods! Who here lets the facial hair grow out during deer season?! Kinda have a ritual of shaving opening morning Oct 1st and not shaving, only trimming, until I either shoot a buck or the end of the season.
Does anyone else do this or have any other rituals that you perform during season???

RE: Fall Foliage
I let mine grow for two weeks in November during rifle season. Its something i have always done in the past. However, the main reason nowis because my employer doesnt allow facial hair sodear season isthe longest possible time i can go without shaving.

RE: Fall Foliage
I started growing a beard two seasons ago and thought i would shave it off at the end of the first season. At the end of the season i didnt shave it. Turns out I like having a beard, haha. SO i have a beard most of the year now, but during the season i let it get shaggy until I either get a deer or the season ends.

RE: Fall Foliage
I used to grow a mushtace the first of Sept. and keep it through the Illinois firearm seasons (for good luck). Got tired of it just before opening day so I shaved it off. So much for good luck. I filled both tags without it last year....

RE: Fall Foliage
I let it start growing around the first of October and usually shave it of before thanksgiving dinner. Keeps the face warm, gives some camo, and makes me feel like a mountain man.
