Default To Blind Or Not To Blind?

Which way do you prefer a ground blind or a tree stand?
And Why or Why Not?

Which Ground Blind?

Which Tree Stand?

Thank You !

I can't vote.....I hunt out of BOTH!

If I am hunting alone, then I like a tree stand.
If I am hunting with my kid(s), then I much prefer a blind.
If I am hunting in the rain/snow, then I prefer a blind.

I have 3 15 ft. buddy tree stands.
I have 2 pop up doghouse style blinds.
I have 1 homemade wooden blind I built last year for me & the kids to hunt out of!

I prefer a tree stand for the hieght/view extention. But I also hunt out of a blind mostly when hunting timber breaks where I can see 500 yards from the ground and the pines are so think you can only see 10 feet or so.

X2 i hunt out of both, like early season starting this year, i am going to hunt out of a blind, because of the florida heat, but once it cools off i would like to use my treestand.

I hunt mostly from stands. Ladders or climbers, but almost always a stand.

Depends... Almost always a tree stand. Hardly ever ground blinds just cause of the density of the area I hunt in FL. And if I get real bored/impatient sometimes Ill put on my home made ghillie suit, grab the crossbow and do a slow crawl for fun.

I prefer the treestand myself. Being in the elements is more than half the reason that I hunt in the first place. The only time you'll find me in a ground blind is if the weather is severe enough to warrant it. With that said,a man made ground blind is better than an enclosed pop-up style blind, imo.

I use so many different set ups I can't vote either. Where I hunt a lot of times a homemade brush blind is the best option, however I use a double bull as well....Sometimes the trees in an area will allow me to use a tree stand and I have one out right now, I use tri pods often, I have three of those out right now and just bought another one this last weekend at the TTha show. I also have two ground blinds built and one shooting house for the wife and kids....I use what ever work best in the area I hunt!!!!!
