Default Code Blue Tarsal Gland?

I'm thinking about buying one of these tarsal glands. I'm wondering if anyone who has used these before can tell me how its packaged? It looks like the gland is in a little bag. How do you go about putting it out without getting deer pee all over you?

During the rut I always seem to have at least one buddy get trigger happy and shoot a buck before me, so I steal the glands off his deer and add them to my arsenal. They do seem to help when calling and rattling.

I'd never use a scent that isn't take fresh/frozen....smelled their estrus stuff vs. my fresh frozen estrus I buy, world of difference, I know they contain preservatives etc....

personallly get the best or nothing at all is my view, and of late I'm of the nothing at all view, tends to be a hassle, more stuff to do, drag etc...

hang some tarsals from the tree after you take a doe....etc...if anything.

I have used the CB tarsal gland before. It helped me kill the biggest buck I have ever shot. In the bottle there is a little bag with a few little things in it. The bag has a rope attached on the top of it so the contents won't fall out but I just open the bottle and I usually have a little stick and I wrap the string around the stick and find a branch to hang it on. Be careful not to get it on you because man is that stuff potent. Oh and you probably want to wear some rubber gloves because their is nothing like smelling like that stuff for a couple days. When you take the bag out be careful because it will drip because it soaks in some liquid stuff. I would recommend it to anyone. It costs about ten bucks but I have used the same bottle for a couple years and it still works good.

Thanks that was what I was wondering. All the ones I looked at at the store had the little baggie in them. I guess that makes more sense then the gland being loose in the bottle.
