If given the opportunity, shoot him. I have a genetic situation on the land I hunt that has one side of the rack on several bucks that are similar. I shoot all of them I can, and last year we didn't see but one like that.

I have had the opportunity a few times last season. There must be something wrong with him in the head too because on two occasions this guy walked within 10 yards of me while refilling the feeders. He would just stand there and stomp his feet to let me know who the boss is. He's so screwed up physically and mentally and to be honest i'm not sure if i would want to eat him.

My partner took a muley this past year that had a very large deformed rack in the velvet and had no nuts. We also call them cactus bucks.I asked the warden about it and he told me that when the deer was a fawn the mother may have licked them off while cleaning it or another dominant buck bit them off, something about wanting to remain top dog. The buck never gets the urge to breed (no testosterone) therefore he never rubs off the velvet from his antlers and does not shed them.
