Default ANY IDEAS ? TO ANCHOR MY STAND ?

Looking for a few ideas to anchor my new biult deer stand .
It measures 6 foot by 8 foot .
The roof has a 2 foot pitch from 8 feet down to abought 6 feet .
2 x 4 walls and roof are biult in sections with ply wood and plexy windows ,and a door ,
I built the floor section seperatley .It is 6 feet by 8 feet made out of 2 x 8 s .and 1/2 inch cdx . It has six 4x4 pressure treated 12 foot long posts .
I will first set the base up and in the ground abouht 2 feet .
Then lift the walls and roof up in sections and nail it together .
I was thinking of poring ready miw cement in holes around the 6 posts .
May be pricey , Its around $4.50 a bag
Looking for another alternative ?
Possibly guy wire with screw in anchors ??
Any other ideas ?
It will be located near a field and a swampy section , and could sustane some heavy winds .
I,m just nurvous abought it tipping over .
It will be abought 18 feet to the tallest point .

We dont anchor ours at all. They are just sitting on blocks. I would be more worried about proper construction and secure the walls with screws instead of nails. We have one that is put together with nails and it squeaks occasionally when you move around.

You could probably just sink the posts in the ground though with some of that post set. Keep your holes as narrow as you can and just back fill with a 1/2 bag each. You dont really even need to put water in there. That stuff will soak up moisture out of the ground and set up amazingly well. You only have 4 posts right? Thats 2 bags at a 1/2 bag per hole.

My Brother In-law set his larger Box Stand on 4 post and used the redi-mix concrete to stabilize it,then he nailed on cross braces to secure the stand even better. If your close to a good solid tree you could use a few strong camo ratchet straps to secure it better?Achoring cables are alright but sooner or later you going to trip over them while getting in or out of your stand.

Go overboard and do it right..
Dig the holes throw in concrete..Inbed those posts..
Thats is insurance in itself for peace of mind....
The last thing you need is to have that thing fall and injur yourself or someone else..
Don't cheap out over a couple of bucks..
Sweating over Lawsuits and, loss of work, is gonna be a hell of alot higher than what you'd spend sweating over digging a few holes and a couple of hundred bucks in concrete..

I used old 2x4's as outriggers one to keep them from blowing over and two to keep trespassers or punks from pushing them over.

I bought some 5 foot metal anchors along with some 3/16" galvanized cable .
I figure I,ll drive the stakes in the ground as far as I can , and anchore them to the 4 outer 4x4s ..
I was thinking of anchoring them derectly under the stand ( inside it ) and criss cross the cables .
I also like the external supports that TimberCreek used .
I may also ad a few to my stand .
My stand is 6 feet by 8 feet,
I made it big enough to easly draw a bow and still be able to manover .
My last stand is abought 4 feet by 4 1/2 feet.
Very comfy , but not a great bow stand .
Thanks for the ideas guys..
