Can you give me an educated opinion on these scopes? I ran across one the other day for $125.00 out the door and jumped on it. I see they are a $200.00 scope, but how are they. I would love to hear from some people that have used this scope or owned it at one time.
Thanks!!!

I have one on my 270 and it is ok. Much clearer than my Leupolds. Never had problems with it but not overly fond of the short eye relief. I' m selling the rifle it sits on and if the person wants the scope it will be going also.

There decent scopes but not to be compared to the Nikon Monarch. I got suckered and traded a 3x9x40 nikon monarch for a 3x9x50 buckmasters nikon. I thought I would get more light but I was wrong. The 40mm monarch lets more light in than the 50mm buckmasters. Also, the adjustments are not quiet as good on the buckmasters. I would buy a Leaupold vx1 before I bought another buckmasters and I would buy the monarch before I woud buy the leaupold vx1.

You didn' t get hurt at all for $125. That is a nice scope for the money. It is the low end Nikon, but still a decent scope. If they could just get rid of that name after the brand name...the quality would probably improve
