I love Bass Pro Shops, but I've never been in Cabela's.

I voted for BPS, as it is the latest and greatest store in Savannah, Ga. However, Cabelas ranks right up there with it with me.

There is also an archery shop nearby- Wildcat Archery that is pretty cool. They have alot of great stuff for the bowhunter and hunters in general.

i chose Bass Pro because Cabela's has yet to open shopdown here in the south. i like to go where i can touch the gear and look rather than flip magazine pages.

Cabelas usally gets 75% of my shopping for hunting items.

I've beena Cabelas faithfull for more than a decade. However, with the junk they are pulling in Montana, I'm pretty fumed at them. We just got a Sportsman's Warehouse in Helena. Thats where I'll do the bulk of my shopping for the near future.

It use to be Cabelas for about 90 percent of my hunting supplies before i heard they sold their email lists to anti-dog hunting organizations (including groups against using retrievers!!??).. They won't ever see another dime of my business. Besides BPS is more of a 'southern outdoor store' anyway, at leasttwoof their stores are within a 3 hour drive from my home.
