so today i go to hunt. i go to drop my brother off at his stand and i find it 5 ft. off the ground. all the steps are stolen. the ratchet strap holding it on is stolen. the chain was beat with a rock that was laying on the platform of the stand. they didnt break the chain. i was mad. so i keep walking to my stand. i get to mine. the tow rope is missing. cut off. great. the one treestep is gone that was there. the metal spikes in the tree were all bent down. the stand was still strapped to the tree though. thank god. see this guy who lives down the street. somebody stole his treesteps too. i am furious. i hate anti's.

Don't hate anti's, feel sorry for them for they are pathetic creatures. Their brain function isn't fully developed to the point of rationalized thoughts. They are brainwashed sheep to the cause of the money hungry organized extremist who care not for the animals but for the agenda and the money these sheep send in. These people are missing acceptance in society and seek attention by those whom they deem as superior because of their inability to accept what's right and what's wrong. We have rabbit dog kennel in our back yard with about 25 dogs and at the time about 12 rabbits. Well one night I awoke to hear all the dogs barking. I walked outside and flipped on the light to see an old minivan parked in my back yard with about 5 people letting all my dogs and the rabbits out.

Well when you let rabbit dogs and rabbits out at the same time guess what, they chase them. Some of these rabbits were very young and it was cold out and the beagles caught them and ate them while these folks were watching dispite them trying to pull the dogs off of them.

After I shot a few times at them they drove off (the kennel is about 100 yards down away from my house). They spray pained my shed with words like &quot;murderer&quot; and and vaious other things I can't post here. I lost 5 dogs and most my rabbits. I hate antis too.

Kodiak;your aim must have been off.<img src=icon_smile_shock.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_evil.gif border=0 align=middle>.from my house to my kennel is about 75 yards,at that range I could have looked at them face to face.laying on the dirt.(not really,just make them lay face down till the law gets there)
man I can't understand there thinking,they didn't know if you let rabbit dogs out with rabbits what will happen.

it's like what happened when they stopped the deer hunt in the everglades in Fla. they captured some deer to save there lives from the hunters,(the deer were starving because of the floods in the glades)well all the deer they saved died in there care.

If it was hunters, they would have either been in the stand or stolen the items, not destroyed them.

You may want to use something like &quot;climbing sticks&quot;. It is a portable ladder that you can take home with you. No one could get up to your stand unless they had a ladder too. Not as likely to have damage as if you provide the ladder for the scum.

I tend to greatly disagree. No true hunter would have been in the stand or stolen them, not real hunters, maybe wannabe's and poachers.

Tree climber, I was using a 12ga with #7-1/2 shot. It wouldn't reach out 100 yards. But that's what I had handy. It was like a 3:00am so I was pretty sleepy.

I've had stands broken and stolen on my property too. One of the stolen stands was from another &quot;hunter&quot;. The broken ones I sure were peta freaks. My neibors were all into that stuff untill they moved last year. I think it had something to do with them.

Kobear, how do you know this is Anti's and not some other hunter peod that you may be encoaching on his turf? Where are you guys hunting at? Is it public or private lands? Regardless I would file charges of vandalism. Good luck and keep us posted. Later, Bobby
