Default RE: deer decomposition

hey man i feel ya it was youth season and saw a little buck and i shot and missed ( i think) i tracked for hours didnt find one speck of blood and i saw tracks going onto neighbors property. well then a month or so later i found that same little buck right near where i shot at it at maybe 60 yards in some honeysuckle the deer when it ran it went the completely opposite way and i found no blood. it doesnt make sense to me at all and i would feel horrible if i shot it and had the yotes get it. since it was a little buck i thought it could have died against begger buck because ive seen way bigger bucks out there. icouldnt tell if there was a mark in because the whole bottom half was ripped up
wat u think happened to it?
