I was out hunting today with the bow and had kicked up a few deer earlier in the day. I sat in my stand and around 5:20I saw probably 15 deer come out of nowhere and start running and playing in a field (too far away for a bow shot). Seconds later I heard 6 shotgun blasts. Shotgun season is over and apparently the neighboring property owners don't care to obey the rules. My question is, what would you do?

1. Call the local game warden and inform him of what's going on.
2. Say nothing, it's not your business and MAYBE he decided as soon as it got dark would be a good time to let some lead fly.
3. Say something to them yourself, and pray he doesn't shoot you in the process.

I don't own the property I hunt on, nor does my family, but it kinda aggravates me that the neighbors are still shooting deer with the shotgun after the season closed. I was just curious if anyone had been put in a similar situation, and what they did. Thanks

#1. Call the game warden. If you call them right away, its very unlikely that they will have the deer taken care of before the game warden gets there; BUSTED!!

I would find out the facts first and make sure they weren't small game hunting or whatever. But either way you should call the game warden.

if you are sure they have done wrong....

just be considerate, and know what you are doing, I have some liberal neighbors that call on me all the time, even though i am in the right...it gets damn annoying...
