When I was referring to a short season I am talking only about the 2 weeks for gun buck. Not that we should be able to shoot more bucks but with only 2 weeks sometimes it is very hard for some people to get vacation days.
A few of my friends have only a couple of years in where they work and others get first priority on vacations. With only a 2 week season he gets shut out of gun season every year for the past 3 years.
If the season was a little longer they could spread the vacations out a bit.

this was my point aswell. i never said ya'll didn't have many deer, i said i couldn't live in a place with such short seasons. our season starts in September and doesn't end until January.

The other piece to that is that although WV allows Sunday hunting, the vast majority of the counties do not. So when you don't get to take the vacation during the week, you still only get 2 saturdays in the whole gun season

I think the gun season could be expanded a few days.Not being able to hunt on Sunday kills someone like me that works m-f. I would really like to see ML season expandeda few more days as well as bow season into Jan.
