I wonder about the authenticity of this as well, I hope it is for real and not somebody looking to make a buck. $600 first rifle is high aspirations when you can get a Remington or Savage packeage deal for $400.

the kid could get a used gun for under 300$ in good condition with a scope. seems like a bunch of BS to me. If they are tight for money then why buy an expensive gun like that?
