I have a Traditions 12ga semi automatic with a rifled barrel. I was looking at the Remmingto sluggers or the buckhammers ? or is there a different shot you could recommend in a slug

Buckhammers are designed for rifled barrels. They also come in a reduced recoil version. You should try several different kinds;sabots especially, they claim to be very accurate.

I have a smoothbore slug barrel for my remington 870 so ive never used them. The remington sluggers shoot best out of it.
