Why did you not mention that in your first TWO posts? Well instead of going to the range I would suggest the following link it helped me: http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product_10151_-1_10001_24255_400014010_400000000_400014000_400-14-10I'll give you credit on a bow miss. I've missed a quite a few with a bow. Field hunting with a bow is hard work. But the other advice I still send your way. Go track that deer then make a plan while your out there. Find a better set up.

You need to go back to the spot where you saw it beaded down and look for a blood trail. You didn't mention this at all in your post. When I say look for a blood trail I mean any ounce of blood means you need to track that deer.
A pair of binoculars is useful. keep scanning the cover around you, whether with binocs or without.

Don't be down about a miss, but I have to agree with most on here. It sounds like you probably didn't miss. I would hunt her down. With three of you, you should be able to cover a lot of territory in a short time. Focus on the last spot you saw here. Check it out thoroughly and then work from there.
