Yep ,especially with onions. The liver purifies the blood. I on many occasions took the liver out of a deer , and when it was still hot and steaming took a good bite out of it. purifies the soul.

Liver and onion is good but its also better if you have it pickled and the same with the heart. I like the liver from an antelope best but you have to remeber to cut the galblader out being that the antelope is the only one to have it on the liver.

I used to until bioligists reccomended not eating the liver from whitetail deer due to lymes desease and whatever else.
I still love beef liver & onions fried in bacon grease!

I never have<img src=icon_smile_dead.gif border=0 align=middle> just don't care for it. I know lots of people that do they take the liver, the heart, and the tongue. yum yum!!!! not for me.
