Default Tumors?

have any of yall ever shot a deer with tumors? my cousin shot a nice 90-100 lb doe saturday (10-20, openin day of muzzleloading here) and i noticed a black spot on its leg, it was kinda hangin there and he didnt know what it was, but we looked more around it and she had them everywhere, even on her right eye, it was swollen shut..so we field dressed it and took it home, we called the fish and wildlife as soon as we got home and talked to the game warden for our county, he said those are tumors, and we need to go dump it somewhere, but still tag it!? so needless to say my cousin wasnt happy..but have any of yall ever seen or shot one with any tumors?

Default RE: Tumors?

I've never shot a deer with tumors on it but growing up I raised a cow that had them everyone told me that it was OK and a common thing. Kind of like wart nothing wrong with you just looks bad. But I probably would have thrown it out too.
