This is my first year to use one and I love it. It's very sturdy and would easily seat two adults comfortably. I'm 6'4" / 230 lbs and I could easily hunt with another person equal to my size. I agree with KoBear though, not something you would want to move very often.

Do you have the Cabelas Pine Ridge 2-person stand? Is it 15 feet high to the base of the stand or to the shooting rail?

Menards sells one here almost identical for $99.00. Padded seats and back rests, 15 foot to the foot rest, Padded gun rest, two stow bags, I took a nap in mine last year (with safety harness on of course).

the best way to put one up that i have found it to throw a rope over a branch higher than the basket, tie the rope to the shooting rail, and have one guy pull it up while the other one walks it up.
I'm 6'2'' 210 and my father is 5'11'' like 190 and with winter clothing on, we are awfully tight. we're also pretty broad-shouldered...

After much deliberating and research, I bought a Timber Strike - Double Vision Extreme. Timber Strike's are re-branded Big Dog brand stands sold at our local Menards store. It's 15' tall to the rail and extensions are available. THis stand is the equivalent of Big Dog's Big Bud Extreme-12.
It was the only 2-man ladder stand that I could find that had a full size platform and a fold up seat in it's price range which was $130 (on sale).
I'm in the metal fabrication field and I'm impressed with the construction and weld quality of it, and the holes all lined up very very well.
For $130 I think it's a pretty good stand.

I believe it is 15' to the shooting rail which would put the seat heighth around 13' but you can buy 4' extensions from wal mart.

It is a bit of a pain to put up but once u do it will stay there forever lol
We have one and its been in the same tree for about 5 years now and we have shot about 10 deer out of it. So we are very happy with its performance.

I've got two, one is a Comfort Zone I think. The other I'm not sure who made it. I'm 6'5" -350lbs so I just like the added room to be ableto sit comfortable. The only thing that bothered me is the seat hieght in relation to the foot rest was too short. After about 45minutes- 1 hour my knees started to hurt and I would stand up and streach them out. Too much movement for me. I built a "booster seat" out of some treated lumber to raise my seat hieght up 5 inches. Much better for us taller guys.
