NEED COUES AND BLACK TAIL TO FINISH SLAM
HEY all, just got back from Ariz. archery coues hunting, not a good year!! I only saw one buck and he was crossing the road. Not many deer this year. Any way I need a coues and a black tail to finish my slam. My buddy Deerking and I are looking for some new coues areas and also some help with some black tail info. Can you help.

What kind of slam? There are lots of other deer species around the globe. North American maybe? That means you have a whitetail, a keyes deer and a mulie so far? I think there's only 5 deer subspecies in North America but can someone help my memory?

RE: NEED COUES AND BLACK TAIL TO FINISH SLAM
It's usually assumed when NA hunters speak of a slam, it's for North American game.
The keys deer are not included in any slam, they are endangered and haven't been hunted legally in decades.
What kind of slam, all big game species, or for deer?
What's included in deer, WT, Mulie, Blacktail, and Coues? Is there breakdowns for desert Mulies and stuff like that? Don't Brocket deer range into North America in Mexico, so a slam would have to include them?
As for BT, I recieved a mailing from Neil Summers, I think it's Bowhunter Safari Consultants, or something like that, and he listed a couple of BT guides in California with excellent success rates, but a little pricey.

The North American Deer slam consists of the whitetail, coues whitetail, rocky mountain mule deer, columbian blacktail, and sitka blacktail. The Key's deer is an endangered species.
