The Barometer is the Dictionary to all Animal & Insect behavior......The moon has some, but not like the Barometer..

For example: Does the Moon tell us when a heavy Rain Storm iscomingin the next 3 days? NO........... Does it tell us we are going to have a Snow Storm in a few days.....NO....Does it tell Animals and Insects........YES.......Does it change their Habits and change their patterns?.....Yes

Yes, many hunters and myself do hunt mid-day on a Full Moon, but if you don't know how to read the Barometer......You might as well kiss that Moon theory Good-Bye!

Learn how to read the Barometer and it will make you a better Hunter, Fisherman and Out Door Sportsman.......

According to the Sept 2007 issue of Deer & Deer Hunting, a study by biologist Dr. Hellickson presented to the Quality Deer Management Association found that deer increased movement by only 3% during the new moon vs the full moon. This study was conducted on 43 collared bucks with more than 400,000 observations over 2 years.

Default Moon

Its not fishing its hunting. I dont believe in moon phases, deer eat daily, they need food. They dont magically disappear because of the moon phase. They are out there, go find em!

I bought the moon guide this year and hunted a lot. I tried to see if my deer sightings corresponded to the moon guide and they did not. I will not be buying another. I do see less deer in the am when there is a full moon but you don't need a moon guide to tell that. Just be out as much as possible thats the key.
