least amount of hunting land
#11
I just got permission this week on a property that is 8 acres. It has a natural funnel from a pond, bumps up against a mature oak stand, and has 5 apple trees. Im hoping to shoot a nice one this year.

I own 80 acres of Land in Western SD. Its located on a mule deer runway from the river to the crop lands on the flats above the river. We take as many deer as we are allowed off this place. It also borders another 5000 acres where I have hunting privileges. Lucky Guy.

I live on a roed and have nabors , we own 4 acres and it backs up to 60 acres and there are DEER EVERYWHERE , I raise game cocks and right on the other side of my chicken yard I have killed 5 and have let Tons walk . It just depends , I know a subdivioson where you can kill deer sittin on some ones porch . If the deer arnt bothered or hunted the deer feel comfortble in nabor hoods ext .

whats the least amount of land you would hunt? and why this is. For me it would be some where around 10-20 any less would be imposible to hunt I think.
Hunting with a bow, 1 acre would be big enaugh.
I wouldn't gun hunt, but I would with a bow.

Location, location, location. I love to hunt fence rows and small chunks of woods with some agriculture around them. Everybody wants to hunt the big woods. They can have it! Give me a fence row system.
