They are randomly drawn Teams but they try to match up teams with members from different zones or regions. This way you won't get a team of "ringers" from Canada, KS, IL, OH and IA vs a group of guys from PA, CT, VT, NH, etc.
It's always afunny contest to watch. Folks will enter a contest that is BASED ON ANTLER SCORE and then go out and shoot a 40" yearling, basket racked buckto enter for their Team!
