I agree, forums are a great place to get info, and there are some very knowledgeable people on these forums. However, the best way to learn is just to get out there and do it for yourself.

Since you are an experienced hunter then I hope that safety is not an issue, therefore hunting with some that are experienced with deer hunting is a good plan. I was the opposite to you. It was waterfoul that I picked up after years of deer hunting. Being able to hunt with some experienced goose hunters was of great assistance.

All great advice! Read all you can from excellent authors.PM me for my favorites,talk to those who are consistently successful,pick their brains,and get out in the woods.Deer have to eat,sleep and breed if you find out where they do all that you are well on your way.
