How much is an out of state tag in kansas?
My grandma and grandpa live in Kansas and I was thinking about hunting over there sometime. Would I need to buy an out of state tag or could I just hunt off my grandpa or grandma's tag(they don't hunt). And how much would an out of state tag cost. If you are wondering were in kansas it is Blue Rapids. I think it is in Marshal county. I also have am related to a missionary in affrica. He is my great uncle's(my grandpa's brother) son. He said we could hunt over there off his permit. I don't think I'll go over there real soon but that would be cool.
Thanks,
Thanks,

Joel-
Its been a couple of years for me, but its like 60 for a basic license, 250 for a buck and 60 for a doe.
Look up the Kansas dept of natural resources, they have a website that tells all about their hunting there. You can also request them sending you their big game packet and apps and it gets to you in plenty of time to put in for the tags.

Here is the website for KDWP http://www.kdwp.state.ks.us/ I'm not for sure, but I think if they qualify for landowner tags, they may be able to legally let you hunt with them. But I'm not for sure, may be wrong. I don't live too far from Blue Rapids, KS. It's a great area for deer. Good luck hunting.

Joel,
As I understand it, you'd either have to put in for the nonresident draw or you'd have to purchase a transferable landowner tag that your grandparents could draw for. Legally, I don't think there's a way for you to hunt off of your grandparent's tags.
