First I can't afford something like that anyway so its a hypothetical question for me. If I paid and didn't ask everything I need to know up front before I mailed a check then I'm an idiot and probably couldn't find my way to the place anyway.

3000 acres is still alot, heck, our lease in Fayateville, TN is only 100 acres, and we killed 22 deer last season! Not to mention how me, my uncle, and a friend all tagged a turkey on opening day.

3000 acres, I would still go for it, heck, if I am not able to see a fence unless I'm getting into the hunting area, I'm fine.

WOW!!! 22 deer off 100 acres. That is what I call a QDM program. I bet your neighbors love you. Did you offer to share some meat?

Nope, we didn't offer meat,'cause the neighbors hunt too.

Besides, we lease from the people anyway, and in a way, by paying them, we are giving them meat.

If you had shot 22 deer of MY 100 acre place, you would be hunting somewhere else next year.

For 22 deer, do you have walk in freezer at home?

22 Deer in one season on 100 acres, Damn. Good luck finding any left for the next few years. One of the properties we hunt was over-harvested by zealous young hunters years agolike this and finally after several years we are finally starting to see it recover, but very slowly. It takes a long time to replace all them deer. If half those 22 were doe just do the math, thats an additionl 22 deer absent next year, at least 50 or so gone year after, ton more 3 years down the road,etc..... We can go weekends without spotting a single deer between a few of us, and 8 years ago my brother-in-law said you could barely spit and not hit a deer.

If they told me it was fair chase and when I got there it wasn't, I'd simply get my money back and head back home.

If that wasn't possible (which I highly doubt) I'd be on a flight home regardless. I won't compromise my beliefs for $3,000.

Going to your revised questionaire......
I'd be pissed.....But I wouldn't fly home either....
For three thousand bucks and a 3000 acre lot, chances are,,there are restrictions on what your going to be aloud to shoot......
Therefore,I hold out for THE BIGGEST BUCK they've got in the herd andkill it....
Something lets say is worth $15,000 to them......
I'd than take the rack to a sledge hammer and smash it to smitherines in front of their eyes.....
Take the meat and walk away without so much as a word let alone any sort of tip......
The rest can be settled in court......

I know alot of state WMA's that get more than 20 deer taken off of it a year and only 100 acres. I regularly take 2 or so myself off them a year. Population still stable.
