is the best time of year to do this? I am thinking of planting the fire lanes (10ft wide) I have in my area next spring. I was wondering if I could plant the honeysuckle on the edges.

The best time to transplant is when it's dormant. Either in the fall after the leaves are off or in the spring before the leaves form. Water transplants heavily.

Are you transplanting it or taking cuttings?Transplanting is best done in the winter when it is dormant. If taking cuttings take them in the spring put a little "root tone"on the tip end and plant in potting soil until you see it start growing.I use peat cups that can be planted without taking out the plant. You will probably have to cover them in there first year or the deer will just eat them up.

Hunting is not a sport,it's a lifestyle.
