I havent but always wondered ...what if? I thought that the insides of deer would get all busted up and the meat would bruise. I would take the bucks rack if it were decent. A buddy got a mink and had it mounted.

Never have and never will. My freezer is usually full of game so I don't need more. I have enough of a problem eating it all as it is. Antlers wouldn't mean a thing to me unless it was something I shot.

HEY BRUSHY , not sure about using roadkill for bait is legal or not to hunt predators ,dont really care ,if i get it out of the road and haul it off looks to me thats its dead and gona be eatin by varments anyway so why not bait with it .. A fresh roadkill keeps alot of coyotes in the area ....you just need to worry about you. Have a nice day.

If I'm pretty sure it's a fresh kill within an hour or two.
I've seen moose hit and left to rot and wonder why someone who hit it wouldn't try to salvage parts of it that aren't bruised up.
