I eat it if there is something left. Fry it with onions and have on some good bread with mayo and mustard.

I sometimes do, but usually give it to the same buddy that wants the livers.

It is one of the traditions of my hunting group. After killing the deer, the nads get hung in a tree and the heart gets chowed the same night. Failing to eat the apple is bad mojo in the deer-gods eyes.

I don't, but a buddy of mine likes them and I usually give them to him. We used to hunt his property for gun season and when we killed a deer we took the heart out and handed it to him while it was still warm. He would usually fry it up that night and eat it.
