Hey Nick, just because someone only has 20 posts doesn't mean $hit. Look how many I have. I guess you could consider my opinion to mean nothing because of such a low number of posts. Although, I have been watching this board for nearly 2 years now. I'm just not much on posting topics. Just because someone has a low number of posts doesn't mean they haven't been around.

Janc I read your post, Decided to read up on the facts and #s for Illinois. If you go to the Illinois Department of Natural resources website under Law Enforcements monthly activities you can read about some of the people whom have been sited for illegal hunting and fishing and about some of the good people who were honest enough to turn them in. And about some of the illegal activities done by the non hunting public on our illinois lands. You said ( I just wish everyone would stop preaching about how good and ethical they are. Im not buying it.) My ethics are not for sale so you dont need to worry about buying it.

I am with mizzou, there is a horse that is being whipped that has been dead for quite a while. Lock this thread, all it is doing is causing a big stink over an accusation that can neither be proven or disproven.

I have never &quot;turned anyone in&quot; for posting, and prolly would never think to do it if I had to go through a lengthy melodrama. I just don't want some grimy slob hunter threatening my wife and kids because he got caught being a slob.

But I have gotten poachers nabbed anonymously. Where I hunt the state makes it easy. I saw the guys, knew exactly what was up, whipped out the trusty cell phone, called the 800 number and voila! In about twenty minutes them boys was busted and no one even knew I had done it.

Which kinda reminds me. Yall hear this fishing joke?

A guy is fishing a lake and after catching a bucket of fish he decides to make his way home. A game warden then approaches him.

WARDEN: &quot;Hey buddy, you got a license to catch them fish?&quot;

FISHERMAN: &quot;Uh, no sir. These here be my pet fish.&quot;

WARDEN: &quot;PET FISH!???&quot;

So the fisherman dumps the fish into the lake and then just stands there.

I think everyone who has hunted has done a little something wrong. If not, good for you. I have killed more than the bag limit before but not one drop of the meat was wasted! My family eats every bit I kill.
