Default Top these all-time losers!

From Illinois DNR monthly activities reported on their website......

CPOs received information over the last three years of a group of Shelby County men chasing deer with ATV's, intentionally running them over, and killing them during the late night hours in the area of the Shelby/Fayette County line. Using new information, arrest warrants were sought and obtained for violations in both Shelby & Fayette Counties. Two Herrick men were arrested on the warrants and charged with Unlawful Possession of Illegally Taken Whitetail Deer, Unlawful Taking of Whitetail Deer, Accessory to the Unlawful Taking and Possession of Whitetail Deer, Operation of ATV On Private Property w/o Permission, and Operation of ATV on Public Roadway. The two illegally used ATV's were also seized. A Petition To Revoke Probation has also been filed on a previous felony conviction on one of the men.

Also I couldn't imagine being able to keep up with a deer on my ATV, let alone overtake/run it over or be able to cut left or right with it!

That's what I was thinking. I have a Grizzly 660 that hauls ass, but think it would be impossible to catch a deer and run it over. The whole story is kinda wacked! Fawns maybe?

Could they possibly have had blinding spotlights because it would be very hard to hit a deer.

Maybe snow played a part ? My brother had a Outlander that hauled through the snow.

you could catch a deer, they run about 40-42 mph top speed, but it would be very hard to actally run one over.
