Does anyone elses wife.....

On a more serious note (as compared to my previous posts in this thread), my wife knew what she was getting into as we dated for quite some time before we were engaged. She hunted with me early in our relationship and I hope maybe someday she will again. Kids and life put a different spin on things.
The thing I'm not looking forward to is doubling my equipment budget. Then again, with 2 boys, maybe I should be thinking about quadrupling my budget?

For any of the not yet married guys and women who love to hunt to be up front about this all before getting too serious. If hunting is a big part of your life, and for most all of us here it is, then it'll probably continue to be after we're married. Potential wife/husband needs to know that's not going to change. And why would they want it to change, it part of who you are.
For married folks, it sounds like from reading many posts, we have a lot of very understanding wives and husbands of women who hunt. We sure need to say "thank you" in many ways to them for this and tell them often we love them. Hopefully, then we'll continue to have this and of course them, for many more years.

Not at all.
She often does ask how I can stay out in the woods so long, don't you get bored, etc. She doesn't hunt so she doesn't understand, but my youngest daughter is now addicted
