Around here a plain ole' semi-sneek is around $380. Mine ran $425 though because I used a different form. The left shoulder actually goes against the wall instad of the back of the mount.

In NJ the price goes from $350-$500 for average work. There are one or two guys who's work is so high quality that the price is $650-$700. Prices are high here for everything!
I've got four deer mounted. Someone said earlier in this post that one should shop around by quality, not price. He's right!
I went by price in my earlier years because I thought it silly to pay $400 when I had someone for $250.My best buckmount looks like a $250 mount! Hind sight is always 20/20!!!The eyes lack the realism andthe ears are starting to lose shape. A real nice MT. whitetail too!
If I get a buck worth mounting now, I'll spend the money!!

Seems like the average is around $400. I agree that you get what you pay for. After having two mounted I decided not to do any more unless I get something REALLY big. Too much money and take up lots of room. To each their own...good luck finding a taxidermist. There are lot's of good ones to pick from.
