lifespan of a deer

can someone please reply. my husband is wanting to know the
lifespan of a deer.

Last year in the Deer and Deer Hunting magazine there was an article about deer and their ageing. It seems the oldest one they mentioned was a doe in Michigan? that was 19 years old. I think normal is about 9 or so.
