I'd take both actually. If a buck has a wide spread AND massive i'd love to take that deer. But nothing can beat the mass. Thats the kind of deer i'm going for right now but its not working to good for me haha.

I would have to say, I don't care...
We have never been concerned with antler size. Body weight is what we look for. We would rather shoot a 210 pound 8 pointer than a 180 pound 12 pointer... |

I like a rack with some mass to it but not too much. A little spread is always a good thing. But what I pay the most attention to is the size of the rump. You can't beat a big ole juicy rump.

well i would choose a deer with a wide spread and alot of mass;)but since i can only choose 1 i would have to go with a nice spread:)

Where I hunt you will not see very many deer with lots of mass. Even if I did I would still go for the wide rack. |

Whichever comes out first! I'd prefer the mass, but at a glance a really wide and/or tall rack catches your attention before mass (to me at least!)
