Default I got me a Buck this morning...

I killed me a Button Buck at 10:00 this morning... He walked up with a Doe feeding.
I hunted 9 days before tagging a Deer today. I only seen one nice sized Buck. A 6 point on Friday... but he was in a realy brushy area.
I'm gonna have me some tender Meat, when I get it back from the Processor.

I'm not trying to start nothing here but what was your reason for killing the button buck over the doe if you was just wanting meat?

"She said if I hit that fishin hole today, she's be packin all her things and she'd, be gone by noon....I'm gonna miss her, when I get home."

Because that was the Deer that presented me the shot. Pretty easy decision, don't ya think...
Besides... how can you tell if it's a Button Buck or a Doe... without rolling it over and seeing it's nads?

Alot of the time you can tell by the shape of the deers head. A button buck has a more square head and a doe more rounded.

He saw it, gve him a shot, he took it.

When he found it, it was a buck. What can you do now? You only have so long to decide and shoot.

I got to say in the bush most of the dose I take for meat turn out to be spikes. I can't see those little antlers behind the ears when they are moving in brush. When the come clear I have cross harrs on the heart. bang lets go chech her/him out. One Shot one kill

GOOD JOB GOOD MEAT ENJOY

I noticed on my Deer, that he had one Ear split on the end. Had been wounded before... It was all healed up. And it was on the very tip of it's Ear, and in the center. No telling how he wounded it.
I seen 3 yesterday. (Saturday) A big Doe and 2 small Deer. I had my Gun aimed at the big one... but decided not to shoot. Too much brush between me and her. Then one of em spotted me in a minute or two, and away they went. Thats when I decided to move up onto the side of the Ridge.
THen seen the 2 Deer yesterday (Sunday). I hunt all day on the weekends, but I almost never see anything past 11:00 am. I did see a Doe at 3:30 pm on Thursday though... while scouting out my new spot.
I caught a glimpse of a Deer on Friday morning on top of the Ridge at 7:15. All the other 6 Deer was between 9:00-10:00.
