FOOD PLOT HELP

FOOD PLOT HELP
I have about a half an acre to an acre of land cleare out in the middle of the woods and would like to start a food plot. I dont know where to start so any advice would be helpfull like whats the best stuff to grow, fertilizer,maintenance and all of that stuff.

Usually the Wildlife Management forum is the place to go. First thing I would do is get a soil sample. What kind of food plot are you after? Spring/summer or fall/winter. Is it sandy soil etc.?
