By the way. I know there is lots of posts on finding deer after hits, or wondering wether they were hit. The big buck had a hole right through the center of his heart. He ran 300 yds however without a drop of blodd to be found at the original site. A hound followed the trail and circled a very thick patch of brush in a swampy area over and over. Inside that thick brush, where eyes would never see, was the big buck.

Thats not uncommon. My expierence hasshown me that heart shot deer have run the farthest, if you take out the pump station how is suppose to leave a blood trail ? Pumps not pumping.

By the way, nice deer. That doe looks HUGE!
