I'm going to be using Federal Power Shok 150grain Soft Point RN for my 270win. Is this a good choice of bullet? Just got back from the range and they shot really well. (way better than the Remington I was shooting last year)

By all means stick with it, if you can shoot them very well, than they're perfect, anything a hunter can shoot well is the deadliest weapon he has.

yes they are good bullets my dad just took the biggest buck of his life using that load buck ran 10 yards and droped

I used that load to take a bull elk and a whitetail doe. Load worked fine. Will work great on whitetails.
