Nope, its not all about having something to brag about or make us feel better about ourselves. Its about things too numerous to write here. Good times, good meat, being out in the woods, using our shiney toys. Its goes on and on. Sure we all want trophies, but have to respect others people's idea of a trophy. I know for myself, I have to kill does first on most land I bowhunt. Park rules. Its a pain, and sometimes its not as easy as you would think. Sometimes I am overran with bucks beggin for a doe. Right now I need another doe to buy another buck permit. And no matter what it looks like, its going down unless I feel so bad about doing it, I can't let the arrow go.

I always joke with my friends when they ask me this question. and my responce to them is always this. " I don't care if it's coming out their mommas ass at the time, i'm gonna shoot it. It will be the most tender meat you ever ate." But in reality, if icould clearly see it still had fawn spots, i would not kill it. But after those spots are gone, it's fair game.

Its hard for me to believe that it would be legal in any state to shoot a baby spotted fawn or that there is anybody on this site that would admit to doing so or would do so if presented the opportunity. I've seen a lot of people on here in the passed that were dog cussed for admitting or suggesting lesser crimes. Amazing
