Shot placement

Where do you shoot your deer? I usually aim for a neck shot. They go down instantly.

Heart Lung area. On a broadside I like the bottom 3rd where the heart meets with the lungs. On a 1/4 away I like the high lungs through the opposite shoulder(scapula).

If its further then 75yds i aim for the heart and lungs. Closer then 75 i put the crosshairs right on the head that way there is no waisted meat.

The lungs/heart is the only ethical choice, too many variable for wounded animals aiming anywhere else.
