Whitetail Hunting Stites idaho
Ive been a member here for awhile, but i don't post much. Now is as good a time as any to start I guess.
Is there anyone here that can give me info on hunting whities in or around Stites Idaho?
I'm not asking for your honey hole, but I am looking for a decent place to look for a whitey while I am visiting friends in that area in November.
Any info is greatly appreciated.

RE: Whitetail Hunting Stites idaho
I live in MT and have never hunted in ID, so take what I say with a "grin of salt"! Thing is, I've looked into hunting that area someday sooner than later, and have talked to a game biologist or two about it.
My general suggestion is to look into the state lands east of Kooskia and Kamiah. That's a big chunk of land with, apparently, high whitetail densities. At least that's a start for you.

that whole area is good for white tails. the white tail have pushed all the mulies out. I would suggest starting in the area of orofino and working south down to kooskia. I looked at some property in the kooskia area and I saw white tail all over the place. I think there is quite a bit of public land to hunt. if not try the access yes program i think there are some private ranches you could easily get permission for.
