Go to yahoo.com and click on maps. Once their you may have to click on beta maps at the top right of screen. You can zoom in real close and the quality is excelent. Alot of the free maps are old, sometimes fifteen to twenty years old. Yahoo is the best and most up to date that I can find besides a subscirption service.

Google earth is by far the best iv'e seen for certain areas. In some places, you can zoom in on a can. Some areas are not as clear for some reason. Terrafly and Terraserver are also good ones.

I think google earth is the best. It is free but has a better version that you can buy for $20.00. I bought it and love it. I also love the fact that I can load all of my tracks and waypoints from my gps to google earth.

I just checked Yahoo out and it is old from what I can tell. It looks to be from the late 90's like 97-98. There is some property that we lease that was clear cut in late 98 and on the map the trees are still standing. I may be wrong, also our camp can be seen and there are several camps missing. It is still good for reference though.
