Default freefalling buck

last sun. my dad shot a fork horn buck and hit it in the hind quarter...he let it go for about 2 hours and then got me to help track him..we hunt close to the wisconsin river and there is a steep 40 foot canyon that is near by..most places having 90degree slopes with a few inclines that you can get down there from. we trail this buck with good blood for about 150 yards and lost the trail near the canyon. so we decide to go down into the canyon and see if thats where he went..well we found him dead down at the bottom. he had fallen 40 feet to the bottom..there was a huge crader where he hit so we know he fell..very strange..but he was alright, no broken antlers or ruined meat..then we had to get him out of there and that was some work!!

Buck or doe big or small they all taste the same and are a trophy in my book.
