This is my 30 year old camper. nicknamed "little ugg", for obvious reasons......but it keeps me dry, warm, fed and coffee'd up. Most importantly when i get drunk and pass out....this is where i wake up !

I don't camp when I hunt. I hunt locally after work or in the mornings on weekends. And if I have time off during hunting season I come home every evening.
However the way things are going for me, my next home may look something like that.

This is my shack.I built this on 10.5 acres of hardwood ridge property.20'x20' 1-room,very primitive.No running water or electric.I heat with a woodstove and light the place up with a couple of coleman lanterns.I took the stove,cabinets and fridge out the camper behind it.It's small but it's warm,dry and it's mine.

Now thats what im takin about. i have really roughed it and i have had the cush hunts too........sorry Mohr, i wouldnt go home at night if i hunted across the street. Nov and Dec is my time.........she's a widow for 2 months.

I built this small camp house on the family's 2700 acre ranch. I started from scratch in 2004, no prints..just an idea in my head. In the building process I went through 100 degree days, in Nov 04 we had a flood one evening...16 inches of rain fell in about 12 hrs, I was trapped there for a day...on Dec 25th of 04 we had 11 inches of snow fall here inSouth Texas.As of today it's only lacking the bottom skirting and some trim work in the upstairs bedrooms. I did get some help from my wife on the roof and painting, my dad helped with the kitchen cabinets and other than that I did everything else. It's not the Hilton but it does have all the comforts of home.
I started in the beginning to keep up with the cost but lost count, I have no idea want it cost and really dont want to. [8D]
Here are a few pictures, when these were taken construction was still in progess. I dont have any current ones but this will give ya an idea.
