Check out some of his other posts and this one might not suprise you all that much. I actually live about 45 min from Miami county (IN) and if a 30" buck was killed I would have known about it. I do like the use of the Indian stick trick however.

RE: deer stolen while in the field

I have a buddy who, while deer hunting, put on a one man drive for his hunting party. He told them what he was doing and when to expect him. Still he found two men so sound asleep that he took their guns. He gave them back of coarse, but I've always wondered about those guys walking back to camp unarmed. I'm thinking their stories must have sounded like this guy's, "someone came up and pushed me off my gun while I was doing a root canal on myself with a sharpened stick."

I believe everything I had to say has already been said. I thought it was a screwy post. Dude needs to learn to use some punctuation too.

I could understand a younger kid letting something like this happen but I am skeptical, especially about using a stick to gut the deer.:D:D

well let's see i just had gull blader sugery earlier that year i was not strong enough to drag the buck home. i thought i would gut him but i forgot my knife so i remembered the stick trick. i found a stone and got the sticksharp then this dude came up andaimhis gun at me and told me that i didn't have permission to hunt my own place or my friend's place right next to my field. so i walked away and remembered the color of his truck then i went home. my parents told me i done alrightby letting him take the deer at least i'm alive to hunt for anouther.Let's see which is more important me or the deer. I vote me.

I think if my son ever kills a 30" deer and lets someone take it from him, I will beat the life out of him for not fightin. And beat him outside to go find that deer.:D
