I used my buddys once a few years ago. It was very comfy, a little noisy, but not too bad. The noisy was probably my fault, since I had never used it before. It was easy to climb with. I'm not a climber guy, but if I ever buy a climber, I would consider a tree lounge.

No gobbler. I bought the bar with thelevel adjustment for mine. But hey, the wedge that came with the old style works fine.

I had an older model, but sold it a few years back. If you have a place or land of your own where you could keep it attached to a tree through out hunting season, it would be great. IMO, to carry in to woods everyday, it was way too heavy, and too noisy to be trying to put on a tree in the dark of the morning. Those are the cons IMO. As far as the pros, it had to be the most comfortable stand I ever used. No problem sitting in it all day long in complete comfort.

I've had one since the early 90's and I love it! Treelounges, at least the older model, is the safest stand you could have! I've had deer come right under me as soon as I've sat down in the Treelounge, they had to be close by to begin with, and they didn't hear a thing! They are only noisy if you are impatient, or inexperienced with using them!
If I were to lose mine for some reason, I'd buy another one in a heart-beat!

I have had mine for about 8 years and i do own 3 other climbers( all summits), yet I have to say that my tree lounge is the most comfortable of them all! Yes it is a little heavy compared to the others, but if I had to have only one than the tree lounge would be it! But at the same time I have to say that I would rather be able to leave my tree lounge on one tree rather than move it around! In other words, if I am hunting all day in one spot than it's the tree lounge(NO DOUBT!!!) but if I am moving from one place in the morning to another in the evening, and especially if I have to walk a long distance then I would take one of the other. I also have most of the "extras" ie: leveler,chill pad,bow stand, bow and gun holders,etc.... and I have bowhunted from it with no problems to date. So with that, the best advice I can give is try and find someone that already has one and see if you can give it a try or go to your nearest hunting store and try out the stands they have.Otherwise it will be like all of the other stuff we buy. You will either like it or you wont!!!!!!!

A friend of mine had a tree lounge and loved it for shotgun hunting. But for bow hunting I use a Summit Viper X5 climber that I bought last year and it's great. Very easy and quick to set up, and very secure.

Those things are like the jigsaw puzzle of tree stands. I've never met anyone who owned one that liked them. They are also the number one stand I see people trying to get rid of in the classified ads. Just my opinion. If I want to lounge, I'll just sleep in.

i love it, my only complaint is the weight. it get's heavy after 1 1/2 mile hike into the woods. however the comfort once set up, makes it worth while.

as far as the noise goes, if you're not scared of the dark and get to your tree before daylight...you can take your time and be quite at setting it up. besides, i always set mine up the afternoon before the hunt.
